The new ‘Swipe to Win’ promotion from Sports Alive is a fantastic cost effective promotion. The promotion is inter-changeable and can run for long periods of time without becoming stale.
The swipe to win unit consists of Sports Alive touch screens with a card reader on the side. Interaction from the customer comes in the form of them swiping their membership card to activate the current game promotion.

The units are stand alone and can easily be updated on a regular basis to keep promotions fresh and interesting. New ‘Skins’ can be placed on any of the promotions so to adapt the promotions to fit in with any themes or styles that you require.
Not only do the units offer a fantastic promotion, they are a great analytical tool as well. As the information from frequency of visits to peak periods can be analysed within the system, and as part of the ongoing support from Sports Alive this is all done for you. The information is presented in an easy to use format giving you the information you require on a regular basis.
Screen Savers
The screen savers on the unit can be updated on a regular basis to inform customers of upcoming events and offers at the location. They can have general information on them and will also have information about the current promotion.
Updates
Updates to the system and promotions are very simple. Sports Alive will send out a USB memory stick to the venue and all they need to do is place it into the USB drive on the unit. The updated promotions and software will automatically load and therefore your new promotion will be ready to start within seconds.
Promotion One – Symbol Picks
The customer will swipe their reward card and this screen will appear (Please note the artwork for the screens is changeable and will following certain themes and formats).
The customer will choose one of the symbols and touch the symbol that they choose. There can be up to 100 to choose from dependent on the promotion for that month.
Once they have chosen a symbol and touched it the next screen comes up. Again the customer gets the choice of a number of symbols. In this case it is three, but it can be more or less as required.
The customer is then informed that they have / have not won a prize. In the case of the customer winning a prize then a receipt will be printed. The receipt will have their player reward number on, the prize and time/date details. The receipt will have the logo on for the relevant location.
The customer will then take the receipt to the cashier who will allocate the relevant prize to the customer.
This is a very simple promotion for the customer to enter and only requires a couple of touches of the screen. The customer feels like they are in control of what prize they win as they get to choose the symbols with the prizes behind.
Promotion Two – Swipe to Win
The thinking behind this promotion is to promote the player reward cards and encourage the customers to use them each and every time they come into a venue.
The customer will enter the venue and will swipe their player reward card to see if they have won a prize.
The prizes are allocated randomly and pre programmed into the unit at the beginning of the promotion.
Following swiping their card the customer will touch the screen to see if they have won.
The customer is then informed that they have / have not won a prize. In the case of the customer winning a prize then a receipt will be printed. The receipt will have their player reward number on, the prize and time/date details. The receipt could have the logo, on the header, for the relevant location.
Promotion Three – Visit Win
This promotion is aimed at promoting repeat visits from the customers during a specific time period (Week, Month, Year).
Each time the customer visits the venue they swipe their card and the system informs them how many more visits they need that month to qualify for a prize.
Once the required number of visits is achieved the system automatically prints a receipt. The receipt will have their player reward number on, the prize and time/date details. The receipt will have the logo on for the relevant location.
To keep interest up once the required amount of visits is achieved the played is still encouraged to keep swiping as they will also be entered into a monthly prize draw. Each visit over and above the required amount for the guaranteed prize gives them one entry into the ‘Super draw’
